Outreach to Langley Park Community
St. Elizabeth’s serves the economically disadvantaged Catholic Community of Langley Park, MD through substantial provision of food and other needed items and services such as English as a Second Language classes. This collaboration is expected to increase service opportunities for the parishioners of all three parishes and to build relationships with this Catholic community. Current opportunities include:
• Parishioners donate food on the first Sunday of every month for St. Camillus Food Pantries to help feed poor families. (Contact: Brian Crowe Brian.Crowe@worldnet.att.net)
• Parishioners staff the Pantry in Langley Park once a month to distribute donated food. (Contacts: Larry Tremonti: larrytremonti@msn.com; Tim Beaty: tbeaty@teamster.org; & Maureen Feroli: edferoli@comcast.net )
