In January 2007, St. Elizabeth launched the Justice and Service Outreach program to strengthen parish efforts in support of human service activities. Although much was already being done to reach out to "the least among us", enhanced efforts were needed to confront increasing unmet needs.
The time and talents of many, many parishoners are needed to provide substance to these programs and will remain the lynchpins of its success.
The Justice and Service Committee is looking for new members to share ideas on how best to develop, review and coordinate the parish community's justice and service programs and works. The committee meets every month or so. For more information, contact Brian Crowe at brian.crowe@worldnet.att.net.

Social Concerns Committee
The Social Concerns Committee coordinates an assortment of community outreach programs. Through volunteer efforts and the generosity of St. Elizabeth parishoners, the Committee provides help and support to those in need. Recent examples include:
- Needy families received over 75 Thanksgiving meals
- The "Giving Tree" provided 957 Christmas gifts to needy children and adults
- Food donated on the second Saturday of every month is feeding over 250 clients at SOME (So Others Might Eat)
- More food is being donated on the first Sunday of every month for St. Camillus Catholic Church Food Pantry
- Construction is about to begin on a clean water system in St. Elizabeth's sister parish in Magagnosse, Haiti.
