If you are unable to attend Mass, you can request that the Eucharist be brought to you.  Please call the parish office to request a visit from a Homebound Minister.

At Mass, the consecrated bread is Christ’s Body. The consecrated wine is Christ’s Blood. Jesus Christ, whole and entire, is fully present under each form of the Eucharist. He is substantially present in a way that is entirely unique. This happens by the power of the Holy Spirit through the ministry of the priest acting in the person of Christ during the Eucharistic Prayer. -United States Catholic Catechism for Adults

• Children who are enrolled in either Catholic School or Christian Formation classes prepare for First Communion over a two-year period.  First Communion is usually celebrated in the Spring of the child's second grade year.  
• If your child is in second grade or older when beginning preparation, he or she will be placed in the PreCommunion1 class for children who are receiving the sacrament out of the normal sequence. 
• Adults who would like to receive their First Communion can attend O.C.I.A. (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) classes. These are offered year round with the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. More info here.
