St. Elizabeth is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, sponsored by St. Elizabeth Parish and accredited by Middle States Association, Commission on Elementary Schools and AdvancED. 99% of our 8th graders are accepted into their high school of choice.

St. Elizabeth School has a total enrollment of 585 students. Kindergarten has three classrooms with an average of twenty students per homeroom. A lead teacher and instructional aide staffs each classroom. Grades 1-8 have a homeroom size averaging thirty students. A lead teacher and instructional aide staffs each classroom in grades 1 through 4.
Sixty (60) lay professionals staff the school (certified professionals with many advanced degrees).
Spanish is offered for students in grades 2 through 8. French & Spanish are offered for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. JK through 8th-grade students also enjoy Art, Music, Library, Physical Education, and Computers on a regular basis.
St. Elizabeth School’s Resource Center serves our student population through a variety of supplemental learning services. It is staffed by 2 full-time faculty members and a Director of Resource.
The school offers a range of extracurricular activities ranging from CYO and City of Rockville athletics (soccer, basketball, track, baseball, softball) to a number of school-specific clubs (Drama, Newspaper, Book Club, Robotics, Safety Patrols, Scouts, & Student Council). Parent volunteers often provide unique, grade-specific opportunities, as well, based on interest and areas of expertise.
St. Elizabeth School students have access to technology through iPad carts, Google Chrome carts, Promethean Boards, and fully equipped computer and science labs to aid instruction.
The backfield has two soccer goals, a baseball field, and playground. Preschool and Kindergarten students enjoy a separate playground and play area. The school also houses a music room, stage, library, and Resource Center.
